INTRODUCTION TO CONSCIOUS BREATHWORK WITH CARLOTA & MORGAN
A workshop introducing both the theory (anatomy and physiology of breathing) and practice (conscious breathwork focusing on: redeveloping natural breathing, learning how to develop breath retention capacity, and exercises similar to those used in holotropic breathwork & the increasingly popular "Wim Hof Method") Participants will gain a better understanding of their own breathing, common issues restricting our breathing, and the effects that has on the body and mind. They will learn simple, direct and effective practices to help liberate the breath, that they can practice on their own in future (we will also include a section on very gentle partner work for this). We'll also then do work with the breath that will show how powerfully breathing can affect consciousness, energy levels and mental focus.
DREAM CIRCLE WITH CHRIS
Dreams connect us with our emotions, helping us untangle the contradictions and guiding us to the important people and events in our life. The aim of this workshop is to collectively help each other access and interpret our dream life. We will meet for half an hour before “bedtime” one evening and do some simple exercises to help us lucidly remember our dreams. We will break into small groups to share with each other the profound emotional content of our day and speculate what we think might be the theme of our dreams that evening. We will assign and write down for each person in the group a dream sign – a common object or action that may help us remember that person during our dreaming. Before we finally sleep and the first thing we do when we wake up is we will revise our list of dream signs and see if we encounter any of the group during our dreaming. We will also make notes of what we remember using the pen and paper we will supply. Later in the morning we will meet again in our groups to see what we remember from our dream time and help each other try to interpret the meaning of them. For those who would like help remembering their dreams we will supply 6mg capulses of the over-the-counter supplement galantamine, an extract of the snowdrop flower, which has been shown to enhance lucidity and promotes REM dream activity.
BREATHE DANCE SWITCH (COUPLE DANCE, POWER DYNAMICS) WITH NICOLAS
Breathe to feel present, dance to listen to our bodies and switch to get all flavours.
Partner dancing can give us lots of skills for our play. Dance, in itself, gives us awareness of our body, fluidity in our movements, breathing, musicality, presence...
As a partner activity, dance gives us communication skills, and allows us to listen, experience textures, and to learn from our bodies.
TRANSFORMATIVE CREATIVE WRITING WITH SARATONINA
What we call personal identity is the tale we create about our experiences and fantasies. The aim of this workshop is to enhance our creativity in order to re-write the narrative of our lives.
The language we have inherited frames the way we see and experience the world, empowering the emotions, feelings, desires and categories which have names, and unauthorizes those which don't fit into existing categories. When we experience emotions, pleasures or fantasies which have no place in the vocabulary or narrative conventions, we feel troubled, “wrong” and pushed to solve a supposed inner incoherence. We might believe that what we feel “can’t exist”. This workshop wants to hack our vocabulary and narrative conventions and achieve a new lucidity by collectively re-inventing our own new language to express the complexity and incoherence of our experiences.
Throughout a progression of playful writing exercises, we will re-plot first our body, then the story of our lives, the outcome of some of our crucial decisions, and finally we will give names to new emotions, genders, pleasures, private fantasies, collective imagery and archetypes. To shift our point of view and activate our radical imagination, we will use creative and fun board games, props, activities and movement exercises.
(This workshop is an evolution of the workshops given at Touch and Play at Nowhere and in Inanitah in Nicaragua in 2018).
CUDDLE PUDDLE WITH NIQUE SELEEN
What it says on the tin! I like to create a sense of bodily/emotional awareness before we get into the puddle, integrating non-verbal consent dynamics (this is very important to me) in order to create an affectionate and safe space.
AURAL SEX OR HOW TO GET MESSY WITH WORDS AND SOUNDS WITH NICOLAS
(Aural sex) Playing with the crudity of the language, expression, sound, closeness, suggestion, shame... but also expressing clearly what we want. We offer a journey through the power of sounds and words to get aroused and messy. So get ready to talk... but also enjoy listening...
ANIMAL PLAY WITH NIQUE SELEEN
This workshop will let us dive playfully into the many aspects of being a pet and of being an owner.
What happens when someone de-humanizes?
What liberties, and what restrictions arise?
Along with theory there will be fun demonstrations as well as hands-on practice: guided dynamics will get the whole group of participants synchronized, communicating and accepting limits, and creating a safe space to get the most out of the animals and owners.
Creative propositions for certain ways of playing will be made, but participants can choose whether to follow or not. The animals choose who, if anyone, they want to belong to.
FOOTFETISH DOMINATION, THE SEDUCTION STEP BY STEP WITH NIQUE SELEEN
Hands on workshop for couples or threesomes (1 receiver 2 deliverers)
We will explore what it is that turns the giver on and what it is that turns the receiver on.
The workshop is not only about showing and exploring techniques and possibilities that will go from very subtle to clear dominance, but also about playful communication that will provide a safe space of consent between top and bottom(s).
PSYCODANZA SEXUAL ENERGY AWAKENING WITH NIQUE SELEEN
“Psychodanza is an experiential method using therapeutic elements of dance, music and the word circle in a group context. Through this method, the evolution and awakening of the human being is stimulated by recovering its true identity, the Being, the Essence.”
Within our human experience sexuality, our sexual energy is abundantly present, but is often repressed or over-stated in order to comply with social norms. At La Casita, I propose to sensually awaken the sexual energy and let the participants express their authentic, eve- present inner fire in group-, couple- and solo-dances.
Wild Cards: Erotic Storytelling Workshop - with Chris
The aim of the workshop is to play a game where we leave our bodies and the limitations of our planet behind and follow our imaginations on a journey to fantastic new worlds where we can creatively explore fantasies, kinks and erotic experiences and discover new desires so fantastic that they haven't even been imagined yet. The game begins by spinning a bottle. Whoever the bottle points to becomes the star of the story for the first round. The star chooses a story title from the list available, which range in theme from extraterrestrial encounters to fantasies of mistaken identity. Each story has costumes and props to help the star assume their new role. The presenters begin the story by reading an introduction which introduces the scene. During the introduction we ask the star questions about details of the scene so we can personalise it to their tastes. Once we have reached a climatic point in the story we distribute story cards to the other players who then become storytellers and take turns to create different possible endings for the story using the story cards they have. The star then selects the ending they like most as the winner and we spin the bottle again for the next round and start again.
The workshop is suitable for all genders, sexualities and abilities and for people with and without partners.

Gender Blender - with Saratonina
This workshop wants to be a collective experiment to verify the queer theory that gender identity is not born but rather constructed through repeated performative actions, which are informed by existing social constructions. Queer theorists have offered the argument that there is no essential self at all: being ¨female¨ or ¨male¨ is about being socially recognized as such, and this recognition happens depending on a complex compositions of micro and macro acts we have been educated to perform, not noticing them anymore as they are ingrained to the point to be considered ¨natural¨.
In a first part, participants will be accompanied in an experiment of ¨neutralization¨ of their gender identity, through some exercises, meditations and games, trying to break down and play with the binary categories we use to differentiate genders, to think about our gendered bodies (soft versus hard, for example), and to conceive ourselves as gendered beings (archetypes and mythologies stored in our psyche).
After this, attendants will be asked to through the day observing how other people perform their gender, noticing the details of their micro or macro moves.
In the second part, experiences resulting from this observation will be shared, and we will try to produce playfully hybrid gender performances, or to search for identities which occur differently and beyond a socially constructed binarism. Participants will be then released to the world as sparkles of gender chaos!
About Saratonina (Sara Frau)
An Italian based in Barcelona for more than a decade, I’m part of Touch&Play and my areas of interest are language, gender, feminism, and emotional hacking. I graduated in Sociology of Communication and later specialized in Gender and Development and now lead workshops and cacao ceremonies with a focus on personal transformation through emotional honesty and authentic communication, where playfulness and sometimes costumes are used as tool to experiment with identities. After giving workshops on transformative creative writing and on reinventing gender archetypes at Inanitah (Nicaragua), at Nowhere 2018 I offered a Transformative Kinki Creative Writing workshop in Touch&Play camp, and afterwards I was selected by Rara Artistic Residence in Barcelona to develop an art performance focused on giving names to unnamed emotions.
Gender Blender: un experimento collectivo de confusión de género
This workshop will be collective experiment to verify the queer theory that gender identity is not born but rather constructed through repeated performative actions, which are informed by existing social constructions. 1a PARTE, de 16.30 a 18h: Through some exercises, meditations and games, participants will be accompanied in an experiment of ¨neutralization¨ of their gender identity. We will try to break down and play with the binary categories we use to think about our gendered bodies (soft versus hard, for example), and about ourselves as gendered beings (archetypes and mythologies stored in our psyche).
2a PARTE (adonde quieras): We will go back to the normal activities of Can Masdeu, but with the task of observing deeply how other people perform their gender, noticing the details of their micro or macro moves. Bring paper and pen, you will be surprised by how many discoveries to write on your notebook!
